Go to kakariko village, then walk to the middle of town and turn around before youalmost enter it. Stand there and use your arrows (male sure there bomb arrows) look around at the top of the house just outside the town and you will see a giant bell. Shoot the bell with the bomb arrows and the silver rubie will fall out. Turn into wolf link and climb on top and you will get 200 rubies! (you can do it in the morning 2 but do it at night just to be sure).

Once you have collected two Mirror Shards go to the red dot marked on the map. Rusl will be waiting for you. He'll send you to sacred grove. Defeat the puppet master then go to the tunnel that leads to the statue blocking the door. STAY IN THE TUNNEL! Look on the ceiling of the tunnel. Their should be a snail on it. Get it with your clawshot then grab it.

It is found in the field north of Hyrule Castle. If you're coming out of the East Bridge of Castle Town, go left and up the trail. There will be a split ahead, keep going straight. The Beetle is on the tree to your right.

To find the rare Golden Chu Jelly, go to Death Mountain with a Clawshot. When you first see the geysers shooting, turn west. You should see a hole with moss hanging down. Clawshot up to it and (make sure you have an empty bottle) defeat the Golden Chu. Scoop up your golden prize which increases attack power briefly and refills all your hearts. *Please note this is VERY rare to find, so if you don't find it the first time come back and try again*.

The easy way to kill the lakebed temple boss is to swim above it put out your clawshot than lock on than shoot the clawshot. Hit it about 2 times when its on the ground. When it get mad it will start swimming. Then pullout your clawshot again lock on hit about 5 time. It will go crazy hit the wall and suck up all the water and die,.

To use this cheat you need the master sword, 20 rupees, more than two hearts, and to be able to play both river games. The first thing you do is play wolf link's river game, but ram into the wall right away. When the bird ask you if you want to try again, say no. Before you move, transform into human link and look directly at the waterfall. There will be a wall partially blocking view of the falls. Swim towards the waterfall until you are right next to this wall. Take out your clawshot, aim at the waterfall and swim sideways into the wall, if you do this right you go right through it. Next you swim out into the void. After falling off of the edge of the water, the bird will ask you if you want to play again, choose yes. Just like before, fall into the water right away. You should find yourself standing on nothing at the beginning of the river. Jump off but not into the river. You will now be standing in the same place but in the human link’s river game. Transform into wolf link and jump into the river. Now you should see the end of human link’s river game but with a very deformed wolf link. DO NOT ATTACK, I found out that if you do the Wii will freeze. When the zora ask if you want to play again say yes, if you say no or don’t have enough rupees you’ll end up needing to restart the game due to the glitch. When you get to the building at the top of the river you will need to warp, it doesn’t matter where. You’ll now have infinite boms and arrows and see the points for the river game, it goes away after a while of playing. The two ways that you could loose the infinite bombs and arrows are when the game ask you to save (mostly after finishing a temple) or if you stop playing. After you know what you’re doing, it doesn’t take longer than two minutes to get, have fun!

When you fight Gannondorf, take out your fishingrod. He'll just stare at the end at the worm. Nowslash at him while he's distracted.

Before you leave your home town head over to theside of the Mayors home climb up the ladder andthe boxes then climb up to the top of his houseuse the whistle grass then aim it at the chickenthen run off the building with the chicken andyou can fly.

Go to the fishing hole, and find the sign thatsays: No Littering! You can get a bottle if youfish on the left side of the bridge that is nearthat sign. Its darker water than normal.

In Hyrule, when you go south from the centersquare. Turn Right and you will see someonelooking through a window go into the house andtalk to Agatha and give her a golden bug for herball and she will reward you with the big wallet.

If you want to find the glowing bugs of all Hyrulejust use Link's senses on wolf form. It evenworks from faraway distances. If you see a glowinglight track it down and you'll find yourself aglowing bug. (Its more effective at night)

The woman's name in the hidden village is Impaz. She also tells Link that she was named after an ancestor of hers who lived in the village before her giving her a high chance of being Impa's descendent and that the hidden village is, possibly, an old spot where Karako village was.

If your new to the game and having trouble controling Epona, try riding around in Hyrule Field. There are many obstacles and turns to avoid therfore giving you a chance to even out your control.

To get a bigger quiver complete the star game in the tent near the east part of hryule to get a quiver to hold 60 arrows beat the game again you get an even bigger quiver that can hold 100 arrows.

The Cave of Ordeals is easy to find as long as you got the missing piece of the Bridge of Eldin's. All you need to do is teleport back where you got the piece of Eldin's bridge and it right under there.

The missing piece of the bridge is one you might of missed when you went to the desert but it is very easy to find. Just stay down near the bottom of the map and keep going forward. It wont take you very long to find it once you see this huge stone block that's it. But don't think that you got it just yet tree dark beasts attack you but after you beat them you got it teleport to the bridge of Eldin and its back!

The big wallet can hold up to 600 rubies. How you get this is very simple. Go to castel town and get in the middle of the town in the big circle. Head south and you should be going down the hallway. Take a left an you should see a guy looking through a window. Go in that house and the Bug-lady should be there. Talk to her and she will tell you if you give her 1 bug she will give you a special gift. Go find I golden bug-you can find one going to the North hallway- give her the 'golden' bug and you will receive a big wallet. If you continue to give her bugs she will give you 50 rubies for a bug and 100 rubies for a pair.

If you want to get free rupees, go to jovanies house in castle town and bring him 20 Poe souls 1st and he'll give you the fairies tears, then bring him 60 and he'll be alive again. Then talk to his cat as a wolf and jovanie will leave. Talk to jovanie in telmas bar and he'll say he got dumped. The go back to his house and talk to the cat again. Each time you talk to him, he will give you 200 rupees.

Ganondorf has one flaw: he can't turn worthcrud. All you need to do is roll behind him and doa spin slash. Keep doing that and he's dead inat most 5 minutes.

Stand in the middle of the wooden dock and cast your pole out to the north. You will pull it up soon.

To crack an enemy's head open, complete a shield attack and the press the A button.

The cannon keeper at the lake has a bullet billpatch on his arm.

When you go to trill's shop in faron woods. Hehas two jars open in front of you. Get an emptybottle and fill it with either lamp oil or redpotion and wait until trill starts to chase you.Pull out your shield and hold it out until hestops attacking you. You have to stay inside hisshop otherwise he will attack you again when youenter.

If you go to Trill's shop (the bird on the routeto the forest temple) he sells oil for 20 rupeesand red potion for 30 rupees. If you steal eitherof them then he remembers you the next time yougo in, but if you put a couple of rupees in thebox he just calls you a cheapskate and lets you go(plus you can go in and do it again). This is goodif you don't have a lot of money.

Warp over to castle town and make sure you are a wolf. Then walkin and guards with spears will start to follow you. Hold down B touse the dark energy field and let go to scare them away andsometimes leave you with arrows, rupees and hearts!

Before you enter the castle on the west side of the buildingtransform into a wolf and go into you senses. Then dig on theleaves by the wall to enter a grave yard. Then go to three ghostsstanding around a rock. Then blow the rock up with a bomb andwalk over it. The gate should open. Go into the gate and light thetorch. Then after that it will stop to rain letting you light the twotorches to each side of the next gate. Once you light those twotorchesthe gate will open. Take ot you Dominion rod and put eachstatue up againest the wall for you to jump from one to anotheuntil you reach the next gate. Pull the chain and open the treasurechest. It should be the key.

After you donate 1000 rupees to the Malo Mart thegoron will ask you foe 2000 rupees. Go outsideand talk to the goron who will ask you to bringhot spring water to the goron at the west castletown gate. Once you do that you will only have todonate 200 rupees instead of 2000!

After beating the dungeon in the Goron Mines goto Malo Mart. One of the elders will inside. Talkto him and he will ask for donations to lowerprices in Hyrule. Donate 1,000 rupees to him andthen he will ask for money to open a new shop inHyrule. After donating a total of 2,000 rupees asecond Malo Mart will be opened at Hyrule. afterfinding it go inside and the magic armor will be250 rupees.

Go to the inside of fishing hole house and rollinto the wall, the fishing guide will tell you tocut it out, do it a few more times and the womanwill kick you out of the house! When you re-enter, you will have to apologize to her.

You need the oil lamp. Go down into Link'sbasment in his house and to the right of thetreasure chest is a mirror where you can seeLink's reflection!

All (both) wallet upgrades are available viaAgatha's bug palace on the right side of CastleTown. Bring her one bug to get the up-to-600rupee wallet. Bring her all 24 types of bugs torecieve the up-to-1000 rupee wallet.

In Kakariko village, go to Malo's Mart and paythe goron 1000 rupees to repair the bridge, thendonate a further 2000 more rupees so he can openup a shop in Castle Town's main square. The shopis on the left side of the square. You can buythe magic armor there for 598 rupees.The armor allows you to be invincible at the costof losing a rupee from your wallet every secondand you lose big amounts of rupees when you getdamaged. When your rupees run out, the suit turnsblue-ish and becomes very heavy, weighing Linkdown as if he were wearing iron boots.

Inside the fishing hole house is a black andwhite picture of the fisherman from Ocarina ofTime holding the Hylian Loach. It is to the leftof the counter.

To obtain the sinking lure, go to the fishinghole, walk your way up the left side of the bankall the way to the end of the landmass and castyou fishing pole in the water to the north. Youwill catch the sinking lure to use when lurefishing! You can catch the hylian loach and otherbig deep water fish with it.DO NOT LET THE FISHING HOLE GIRL SEE YOU USE ITOR SHE WILL TAKE IT AWAY!

To defeat the Forest Temple Boss first aim thebomb plant first then aim one of the Parasites.(repeat process with the other one) After theevent there will be 3 parasites but the one withthe eye is your main target. When you see themonkey swing around with a bomb on his feet, aimfor the bomb and then the one eyed-parasite.When the bomb hits the parasite it'll getstunned and fall, when this happens draw yoursword and slash its eye until its done.

To get easy rupees in the Temple of Time youmust ring the bells with your Ball and Chain.Some of them will drop down twenty rupees or afairy.

The three light spirit's names ressemble Falore,Din and Naru from Legend of Zelda Ocarina OfTime. Faron-Falore Eldin-Din Laynaru-Naru.

After the event where you melt the ice in Zora'sDomain. In that same exact spot, place a waterbomb in the bottom next to the hot molten rock.After its blown up there will be a goron comingout of it and will gratefully give you anotherbomb bag.

After collecting all of the tears for the Lake HyliaArea, go to where you saw the lady with the afro.Her name is Iza. Run north of where she wassitting when you were a wolf, and you should comeinto a battle with 3 shadow creatures. Beat themand Iza will congradulate you. Then she will takeyou in herbuilding.She will ask you to combine your arrows and yourbombs to break a stone wall. Then, she will askyou to ride down a river to break all the stonewalls there blocking the river, and you willeventually come to Iza's Zora employee. Follow theZora and bomb more stone walls. At the end theZora will stop to Congradulate you, and give youyour second bomb bag.

If you find yourself lost at the event of themissing bridge of kakariko the bridge is locatedin the North Faron Woods on the left side justbefore the Forest Temple.

In this game, instead of being swarmed withcuccoos when you hit them repeatedly, the screenhovers over the cuccoo instead of Link. Whileyou are a cuccoo you can fly and run. Prettyuseless, but hilarious.

This puzzle is the one with two statues that need to get to their original place. Solution: Down, Up, Left, Up, Right,Down, Down, Down, Up, Up,Left, Up, Up, Right, Down.

In the fishing hole cast into the small pond tothe left of the bridge on the west side. You willeventually pull it up.

Bring 20 poe souls to Jovani in castle town. (Itwill have Great Fairy tears in it when you getit.)

Get it in the store in Ordon Village after youcatch a fish for the cat. The shop owner gives itto you for free.

Get the Male Phasmid and cross the bridge totake a left turn. Stop by a bomb rock. The girlwill be on the high part of the rock. Use yourBommerang to knock it off. Pick it up bypressing A.

Twilight Princess Star Game Cheats Game

Head to the Bridge of Eldin's south entrance.There is a Male Phasmid on the wall! Use yourboomerang to knock him off the wall and onto theground. Pick him up by pressing A.

Enter Hyrule Fields and look for the FemaleHopper of the northeastern part. Pick it up bypressing A.

Enter Hyrule Fields and look for the MaleGrasshopper west of the southern entrance.Pick it up by pressing A.

In Kakariko Village, enter the building with asmall hole in the roof that you made earlierwhile searching for Twilit Parasites. In themiddle of the room is a Female Ant. Pick it upby pressing A.

Go to the raised western part of the graveyardnear Kakariko Village and find a tree where someof the guays (black crow monster) where sitting.There is a Male Ant on the trunk. Grab it bypressing A.

Go to hyrule field and find a tree that is neara ledge. Then use your boomerang to knock afemale beetle out of the tree. Once you knock itout, it would be on the ground or the ledgewall. pick it up by pressing A.

Go to hyrule field and find a fat tree wherethe 2 Bokoblins roam. Then use your boomerang toknock a male beetle out of the tree. Once youknock it out, it would be on the ground or thetree log. pick it up by pressing A.

At the Zora River go to the signpost and findthe Female Dragonfly over the rapid river. Usethe boomerang to catch it.

At the Zora River go to the balcony or thewaterfall and find a Imp Poe. Drop down into thewaterfall pool and swim to the rock. Clamberonto the ledge and run up the grassy rampedledge. When the ramped ledge turns you will findthe Dragonfly above a patch of grass. You knowwhat to do.

Go to the part of Hyrule Field near Castle Townand head south from the female butterfly. Find aclump of flowers with a Male Butterfly in it.Grab it by pressing A.

Go to the part of Hyrule Field near Castle Townand fight 2 Bulbin Archers. When you're doneface north to see a outcrop. In the flowers edgeof the outcrop bring it down with the boomerang.Grab it by A.

Cross the bridge and head south. There is anarea with a Female Mantis that is up and left ona rocky wall, on the side of the giant treeroot. Use your Boomerang and knock it off thewall to pick it up by A.

Go to the big bridge (Not the Bridge of Eldin)and go to the northern part. Then face south andcheck the right wall. Use your boomerang toknock it off then pick it up by A.

Bring 20 Poe Souls to Jiovani to get a Bottle with Fairy Tears.

Play the STAR game on the rightside of Castle Town(It's the small circus tent),using your clawshot to collect all of the orbswithin the time limit. Do this to get the 60arrow quiver.

After beating the STAR gameonce and getting the double clawshot, go back andplay again. Use the double clawshot to collectall of the orbs within the time limit. Do this toget the 100 arrow quiver.

Buy it from Barnes at the bomb shopit Kakariko village.

Go inside Iza's boat rental shop nearthe upper river and help her clear the blockedareas of the river to recieve it as a thank you.

Go the Zora's domain and go to thebottom of the round pool near the throne andwater bomb the large rock in the middle to reveala goron who will give you a bomb bag.

Go back to Iza's boatrental shop and play a minigame where you have toshoot pots w/ bomb arrows as you travel downriver. Break a high amount(25 or more) to recievethe bag size upgrade.

'It's a secret to everybody.' These famous words go all the way back to the very first Legend of Zelda game. And it began a legacy of secrets, hidden paths, and Easter eggs that have kept fans eagerly on the hunt since the '80s. Whether it's a maze-like route, a special item, a quick cameo, or even a mysterious artifact, gamers are given a whole new treasure hunt every time a Zelda game is released.

The Zelda series has always been about adventure and exploration. Discovering those deep secrets hidden away by developers is an essential part of that experience. The excitement and the mysteries that linger in areas unknown are what fans have come to expect. This franchise is packed with so many secrets that it can be an overwhelming task to uncover every one of them. Die-hard fans may know most, maybe even all, hidden details and treasures. If you want to dive deeper into the unknown regions of the series but don't know where to start, these are some of the best secrets in every Zelda game.

The Legend of Zelda: the Minus World

Many are already familiar with the famous 'Minus World' found in Super Mario Bros. But for over 30 years, a secret Minus World has been hiding in The Legend of Zelda, and nobody knew about it until a very determined YouTuber was able to crack the code. According to YouTuber SKELUX, minus worlds were quite common in older NES games. As he explained, the developers implemented codes to lock gamers out from reaching these glitched sections.

In The Legend of Zelda, there's a way to break Link out of the traversable field, though when he exits the screen, he is brought back to the beginning. Through some clever detective work, SKELUX was able to figure out that while the world map is 16X8, Link's position could reach a maximum of 16 horizontally and 16 vertically. In order to achieve the 16X8 dimensions and prevent Link from crossing outside the map's border, a negative map (aka the Minus World) was created.

Using this logic, SKELUX found a way beyond the limits of the visible map, bringing him into a world that was never meant to be seen. In his exploration of this area, SKELUX encountered many glitched enemies, NPCs, and other strange graphical effects.

The Adventure of Link: a grave encounter

Now here's a secret for which gamers outside of Japan were kept out of the loop. For the Famicom Disk System release of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, when Link arrives in the village of Saria, he passes a headstone marked by an engraving that says 'The hero Loto rests here.' The 'Loto' mentioned in this cemetery is a reference to the hero in the Japanese version of Dragon Quest. When Zelda II was ported to the States, this little Easter egg was removed entirely, as US gamers had not yet seen a release for Dragon Quest.

The region-exclusive fun did not stop with Zelda II. Square wanted to poke back, so a headstone that read 'Here lies Link' was included in Final Fantasy for the Famicom. After the game was ported to the states, the engraving changed to 'Here lies Erdrick,' referencing the localized name for Loto.

Kurt Kalata of Hardcore Gaming 101 suggested that the change could have been a result of Square playing it a little safer with the Zelda property upon the game's overseas launch. Whatever the case may be, later ports restored the original Link headstone.

A Link to the Past: the Chris Houlihan room

When hearing the name 'Chris Houlihan' in the context of Zelda, something may sound off. What kind of Hylian would be named Chris Houlihan? Well, Chris is not, in fact, Hylian. He is a real person. And he was the winner of a 1990 Nintendo Power contest where the prize was to be immortalized in the then-upcoming A Link to the Past. And thus, the legend of Chris Houlihan was born.

This prize came in the form of a very secret room called the 'Chris Houlihan room,' in which any lucky explorer is rewarded with 42 blue rupees. Upon entering, Link is greeted by a friendly sign that proudly states, 'My name is Chris Houlihan. This is my top secret room. Keep it between us, OK?' Unfortunately for Chris, the secret got out, and now the trick can be performed by anyone who travels the world of Hyrule in A Link to the Past. According to Engadget, the Chris Houlihan room is essentially a glorified error message that populates on the screen whenever the player reaches an area faster than the game is able to load said location.

Forget 'I am Error.' The Chris Houlihan room is the true error!

Link's Awakening: a cameo from ... Madonna?

In the '80s and '90s, few pop stars reached a level of stardom matching that of Madonna. As Link himself was on his way to the top in the early '90s, one could say he was able to pull in some impressive star power. And not the kind Mario used to defeat Koopas.

In what could be classified as one of the most bizarre cameos in video game history, Madonna played a very obscure role in Link's Awakening – so obscure that you would only encounter this crossover if you played a French-Canadian copy of the game. Early on in Link's Awakening, Link has the opportunity to use Grandpa Ulrira's phone. If he picks it up, he has a very brief exchange with a character called the Bucket Mouse in which Link will abruptly end the call with an explanation that he dialed the wrong number.

For whatever reason, this character is replaced by Madonna in the French-Canadian port of the game. She is never seen or even referenced again beyond this scene. And Link, the rising star that he is, has the nerve to immediately end the call and say it was a wrong number, even with Madonna on the line!

Ocarina of Time: hidden Arwing

Star Fox once had a title that was a Zelda-like adventure on the GameCube. Perhaps the developers were returning the favor for letting Fox McCloud cruise through Hyrule. First discovered sometime around 2001, fully functional Arwing models actually exist in the code for Ocarina of Time. What on Earth are they doing there, you may wonder?

In a video demonstrating the misplaced Arwings in action, TetraBitGaming discussed some speculation over the reasoning behind this strange artifact. Some fans thought it was an Easter egg, while others believed it was used to test gameplay mechanics. But the true explanation was finally revealed in 2011.

According to Satoru Takizawa in an interview with Satoru Iwata, the Arwing asset was imported directly into Ocarina of Time during its development to help create the animation for Volvagia, the Fire Temple boss. The programmer working on the creature felt its movements would resemble that of a scene in Star Fox 64 where an Arwing was being tailed. Naturally, the model remained hidden in the game's code and can be summoned via cheats. If you ever wondered who would win in a fight between Link and an Arwing, you can finally find out!

Majora's Mask: the mysterious paper airplane

The Kingdom of Ikana is a dark, morose area found in Majora's Mask. It is not a section one enters with a light heart. With its fall-from-grace backstory and themes of death, this seems like one of the last places you'd find a playful Easter egg. Regardless, there is, in fact, a strange artifact that appears to have no real explanation. A lone paper airplane, which sits upon an unassuming pillar, has been boggling the brains of fans for years. Something so specific, so intentional, must have had a purpose, right?

YouTuber Newbornkilik dove into this mysterious paper airplane and tried to rationalize its placement. In his analysis, he estimated that this object may have rested atop the lonely pillar for decades, or perhaps even centuries. From there, he came up with possible explanations for who originally crafted and tossed the paper airplane in question. He concluded that it may have been a child's desperate and futile attempt to call for help.

In all likelihood, this little Easter egg is nothing more than a random afterthought from a programmer who wanted to have a little fun. But it's easy to see how such a small detail can really spark the imagination.

Wind Waker: look to the stars

For many, video games represent an escape from reality. They offer gamers places to go for relaxation and — in some cases — a retreat when the weight of the real world is too heavy.

The Legend of Zelda has always been a great franchise for fantasy fans looking to get lost in exciting adventures. Featuring a silent hero, wide-open worlds to explore, imaginative creatures, and deep lore, it's the perfect series for a grand escape. And sometimes it can be extra comforting to see elements of reality in beloved fictional properties.

In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, players who look up to the stars will notice something familiar. There are real-world constellations like Orion and the Big Dipper piercing through the darkness of the night. When settling in to play Wind Waker, one can find comfort in the whimsical thought that perhaps this fantasy world and the real world are all surrounded by the same night sky.

A Link Between Worlds: the tilted angle

Have you ever played A Link Between Worlds and thought something was slightly askew? Probably not. But that's because something quite literally is askew in order to make what you see on the screen look more natural.

During an Iwata Asks interview with the dev team, a little secret was revealed for how they achieved the game's 3-D look. Throughout development, they struggled to figure out the best way to approach a top-down view as seen in A Link to the Past and other 2-D games in the series. Because it didn't look right with a straightforward approach, they had to angle Link, the rupees, and other in-game assets as if everything was leaning back. It appeared quite odd from the side, but the final product looked great. And fortunately, no one who plays the game will see it from any other angle.

...Unless you boundary break it, of course.

YouTuber Shesez did just that in a video exploration of the game from another perspective. So fascinated was he by Nintendo's reveal of this trick that he had to see it in action. In his video, he also demonstrated how it would have looked had it been a true top-down view.

Tri Force Heroes: the missing Fairy Costume

A regular fashionista, Link has quite the wardrobe in Tri Force Heroes. And his passion for fashion serves a greater purpose than pure aesthetics. Costumes give him different abilities, such as increased speed, improved traction, or lava resistance, depending on what he wears. As such, one must wonder what special powers Link would have gained from the Great Fairy costume had it been included in the finished product.

The YouTube channel PPLToast posted a video showcasing an unused outfit found in Tri Force Heroes. While the user who posted the video speculated that it was likely a Great Fairy costume, it's labeled with the placeholder name 'Hero's Tunic.' What's even more interesting is that Link's character model changes when donning this secret garb. As the video's description explained, this is likely evidence of an in-progress design during the development of Tri Force Heroes as the team retooled A Link Between Worlds to have the cel-shaded look of Wind Waker.

While Zelda fans did miss out on at least one more costume, this discovery offered a little insight into the making of Tri Force Heroes. And sometimes behind-the-scenes secrets are the most fascinating!

Who doesn't love kittens? The team behind The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword understood the lovability of kitty cats and knew a hidden kitten patch would be a real treat for anyone daring enough to search for whatever lies beyond the beaten path.

IGN put out a video that revealed the key to unlocking this treasure trove of cuteness. First, you must find the Goddess Statue located in the Skyloft during the day, as it won't work at night. Equip your Clawshot and use it to take you over the wall and onto a field. Next to a tree, you'll find a patch of pink flowers. As you approach, you'll discover a bunch of these precious creatures called Remlits snoozing away. No, they're not literal kittens, but they are cat-like, they meow, and they're downright adorable. Once you stir them from their rest, they will squeak their cute little meows and follow you around.

You can pick them up if you want, but don't you dare throw them off the cliff! Sure, they will flap their ears back to safety if you do, but how could you commit such a cruel act against such cute animals?

Twilight Princess HD: preview of Breath of the Wild

In 2016, Zelda fans had a lot to be excited about. Not only did Nintendo launch its HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but a trailer for Breath of the Wild (at the time known as Zelda Wii U) had recently been shown, and gamers were hotly anticipating this thrilling new title. With all this excitement buzzing about, Nintendo decided to sneak something special into Twilight Princess HD.

HMK put out a video where he discovered this Easter egg. While inside Chudley's Fine Goods and Trinkets Emporium located within the Castle Town of Hyrule, he instantly recognized screenshots from the Zelda Wii U trailer framed and hanging on the shop's walls. His reaction to these images was nothing short of ecstatic.

Nintendo Life also covered this discovery, in which the original screenshots were compared to the in-game images. In the video, the comparison showed that these 'paintings' were squeezed to fit a more square frame. Further, the video pointed out that smaller versions of these screengrabs are framed on the counters as well. One other note from Nintendo Life is that these Easter eggs disappear later in the game when the emporium is converted to a Malo Mart.

Breath of the Wild: Wind Waker throwback

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was a major success for Nintendo. The game put Link in a massive world to explore, and the bigger the world, the more room for secrets. Indeed, Breath of the Wild is chock-full of secrets, and a big one was hiding in plain sight for two years before it was discovered.

It happened as Jon Cartwright of GameXplain was recording a separate video for said channel. While roaming about Lurelin Village, he couldn't help but feel his surroundings looked rather familiar. He then found a hut he also thought he recognized. It was at that point that he made the connection.

In the video, he brought in footage of Outset Island from Wind Waker and took a 360-degree scan of both locations. The more he explored Lurelin Village and compared it to Outset Island, the more it became clear that the developers put in a callback to Wind Waker.

If such a subtle detail can hide away for so long, then who knows what other secrets and Easter eggs have yet to be uncovered in Breath of the Wild, or any other Zelda title, for that matter?

A secret project that was to come before Twilight Princess

What could be better than a secret hiding within a Zelda game? How about a secret project that was in the works prior to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess?

Information on this lost Zelda title broke in an official post on Nintendo's Breath of the Wild news section. The announcement actually came from an update regarding the Master Trials DLC pack for Breath of the Wild. Satoru Takizawa, the art director for the game, talked about the character Midna and her importance in the series. She joined Link in Twilight Princess and, according to Takizawa, was the first of the Hylian hero's companions who was constantly at his side and fighting with him. And she was going to be included in this abandoned project.

Not much else is said about this secret game, adding even more mystery to the title. Why did Takizawa refer to it as a 'secret project?' It causes the imagination to run wild with possibilities. Regardless, Midna may be all that remains of this lost Zelda title.
