• 30 Frustrating Parts

• A Bunch of Flower Pikmin

Have any Pikmin bring something back to the onion and when they return pikmin seeds come out. Go somewhere (anywhere) and then come back (before nightfall) and check the seeds. They will be buds or flowers! I got a bunch of flower pikmin!

• Aternate Ending

The ending you get depends on how many parts you get:
Bad: if you fail to collect the 25 REQUIRED parts of Olimar's ship, he will be stranded forever and become a pikmin.
Normal: If you get the REQUIRED parts of Olimar's ship, he will leave the planet for home.

• Captain Olimar can Fight

If you are tired of losing pikmin to those little creatures,(smaller ladybug lookin things, those large tadpoles with the hugh mouths, and those little grubs that break down bridges and fly), just walk around with Captain Olimar and when you come to one, just press the A button repeatedly (while moving around so not to get hit), this results in a dead bug and no dead pikmin.

• Challenge Option Modus

Save the game at any point to unlock a 'Challenge Mode' option at the main menu. Select that option to replay previously completed sections in a time attack type scenario. The objective is to collect as many Pikmin as possible before nightfall.

• Defeat Armoured Cannon Beetles

When the beetle pauses to suck air through a hole above its mouth, throw a Pikmin into a the stream of air. It will get stuck blocking the hole and stopping the beetle from breathing. • Defeat Bulbax

Take 20 Yellow and 80 Red Pikmin on a new day to fight him. Get bomb rocks for all your Yellow Pikmin from the back and then put all you Pikmin outsdie the Arena. Wake him up. Now leave a Yellow bomb rock Pikmin for him to eat. Wait for the bomb to blow up in his stomach and swarm him. When he shakes them off, call them back and repeat. | Submitted by CenturionZ_1

• Defeat Fiery Blowhog

• Defeat Goolix

Goolix will appear in The Impact Site in the 1/5 chance. when he appears, Take 50 Blue Pikmin or less and Aim for that strange round object inside the goolix that shows a yellow-Green-Black colour, control your Pikmin with the C-Stick to that ball, press Y to release your pikmin, and wait till the end, goolix will die.
Note: Don't Use any other colour Pikmin, cause goolix has a body of water! And make sure you know that Red and Yellow pikmin hate that element. | Submitted by DennisDreessen

• Defeat Smoky Progg

Visit the Distant Spring before day 15 and find an egg in the huge lake. Smash it and run back to base. The Smoky Progg will now chase you. Any Pikmin (even planted) that touches the slime it leaves will die do use Red Pikmin and swarm his face. If you kill it he will leave a nut that will make 100 Pikmin. | Submitted by CenturionZ_1

• Defeating Frogs

Get a large group of Pikmin (preferably Red). Go up to the frog and dodge his first attack. Then, swarm him with your Pikmin. He will not be able to get off the ground, causing a near instant kill. This works with all frogs, but requires more with the Distant Spring frogs.

• Easy way to kill a Bulborb

When you see a bulborb don't just attack it from the front. Get all of your pikmin, then sneak behind it and use the C stick. When they start to attack it will only be around 2 seconds before it dies.

• Fireworks

Just press down on the d-pad and wait for four Pikmin to carry you to their onion. You will not get sucked in to the onion, but you will get close. | Submitted by Steve

• Free Flower Pikmin using Mamuta

When you return to the impact site on even-numbered days after and including Day 8, you will encounter this rock-like enemy in the circular arena. When he performs his pummel attack, he will knock your Pikmin into ground but instantly turns them into flower Pikmin. • Get 150 Pikmin!

In The Impact Site there are 3 clamppearls, one clampearl has a Ship part, but make sure you recovered that part already. the clamppearls will have a pearl each. get the pearls out of all the clamppearls, each pearl will make 50 pikmin. carry the 3 pearls to the onion to make 150 Pikmins!
NOTE: You can hold 100 Pikmin at maximum: make sure you put the rest of the pikmin in the onion to save space for the each 50 that will come out the pearl. you only need 3 pikmin to carry a pearl. Don't carry the pearls in a row. Sprout each 50 Pikmin and next send them into the onion next carry the other pearl. repeat this method to get 150 Pikmin and a high population result as well. | Submitted by DennisDreessen

• Getting Various Colored Pikmin

You can get the Red Pikmin when you start the game (Impact Site). You can get Yellow Pikmin when you get to the next area (Forest Of Hope). You can get the Blue Pikmin in the third area (Forest Navel).

• Inivincibility

• Kill Iridescent Flint Beetle

• Killing Mr. Mushroom

• Secret file locations

Search the indicated locations to find all ten secret files. There are two secret files in each area, and each memo unlocks a random number. It is not yet known what these numbers do.
Tropical Winds
1. It is found in the lower corner in the wet rocky area where the Pikmin encounter a Calcified Crushblat.
2. It is found near the tree stump, accessible by placing Pikmin on pressure pads. Before going into the hole in the stump, look for the file around the roots leading into the rocks below.
Garden Of Hope
3. It is found floating around the weighted lift puzzle. Use Pikmin to weigh down the platforms to reach the file.
4. It is found on the path to the Quaggled Mireclops, in the fallen pot where a Peckish Aristocrab appears.
Distant Tundra
5. On the rock wall surrounding the landing ground, use the rocks outside to throw a captain up onto the ledge to get the file.
6. Inside the cave with the Bamboo Wall, use ten flying Pikmin to open the path. The file is behind the two fallen ridged metal panels in the dirt ahead.
Twilight River
7. While traveling to the Scornet Maestro, ride on a pad down the second river with lily pads, and throw a captain to the pad to reach the ledge. Then, throw a captain to the high platform down the grass path to find the file.
8. On the root path of the Scornet Maestro's tree, after passing the bridge, throw a captain to the roots on the right. The file is down the path.
Formidable Oak
9. Near the start of the oak, destroy the reinforced wall, and look in the spotcaps to find the file.
10. In the dark section of the cave that needs to be lit with blue mushrooms, go across the shroom tops to find a pile of dirt near Candypop Buds. Dig up the dirt with Pikmin to find the final file.

• Secret Memos

As you explore the world, you'll perhaps stumble across the occasional secret memo. Each one you might discover is located well off the beaten path, so you're not likely to find any of them by accident unless you are exploring quite thoroughly. There are actually a total of ten memos available. You can access them all and use their contents to assemble a secret code that you can enter while using the Wii U browser, on Miiverse. Doing so will allow you to see special video logs from the game's characters.

The codes above may vary depending on the Wii U system that is used to access them. There may be a limit to the number of times that each code may be used to access the corresponding video. If you would like to find the notes yourself, and assemble the text to create your own code that you can enter on Miiverse, you should find the following information and videos about individual locations useful (note that the numbering system used below is for your convenience and is not referenced in the game itself).
Secret Memo 1 is hidden atop a grass-covered mesa in the Tropical Wilds area on the western end of the map. A large brown square on the ground near a ledge serves as an elevator. To activate it, place some crew members and a few Pikmin on top, then send another crewer around the ridge until you see a bounce mushroom hidden by plants. Throw some Pikmin onto the mushroom and they'll bounce on a trigger which elevates the stone onto the far side where your crew members are waiting. A single prominent tree branch blocked by a small mushroom serves as a bridge from the mesa to a hidden area where the memo awaits.
Secret Memo 2 is hidden in the Distant Tundra near the Cupid's Grenade atop a snowman's head.
Secret Memo 3 is hidden in a flowerpot on the island near the boss lair in the Garden of Hope.
Secret Memo 4 is hidden in the Twilight River area beneath a pile of bridge tiles on a tiny jutting plot of land in the southern part of the map.
Secret Memo 5 is hidden above the scales in the Garden of Hope.
Secret Memo 6 is hidden in the roots of the great tree near the Scornet boss fight in the Twilight River stage. The Memo can not be seen from the main map. To reach it, throw a crewer over the edge of the east edge of the tree root path just past the bridge and ravine leading up to the boss. The Memo is hidden just past a large tree root.
Secret Memo 7 is hidden in the Formidable Oak. Just on the far side of the concrete barrier near the cavern entrance you'll see a cluster of small mushrooms. Break them down to reveal the Memo.
Secret Memo 8 is hidden in the cavern in the northwest section of the Distant Tundra across the Bamboo Gate near the open circuit.
Secret Memo 9 is hidden in the Tropical Wilds at the far southwest corner of the map, tucked away in a small underwater grotto.
Secret Memo 10 is hidden in the Formidable Oak. The note is buried in a dirt pile just to the left of the final ascent to the boss battle in the dark cave area.
